Tool Academy 2 - Episode 1 - DEDICATION

After watching the first season of Tool Academy, I could not wait for the second season to start. I wanted to see bigger liars, bigger hypocrites, and bigger cheaters. Who doesn't?

Remember ladies and gentlemen, they make look mmm.. mmm... good, but they're still tools.

Now let's take a look at the contestants, shall we?
- Josh Riggs - Spray Tan Tool - "Anywhere I go, I am a star".
Girlfriend: Jamie.
Self Proclaimed: King of Vegas.
Interested in his hair more than his girlfriend's face.

- Dre P. (Andre Parr) - B Boy Wanna Be Tool
Girlfriend: Leah
Comes back home at 3-4 a.m. Wonder what he's doing by staying out that late at night. Hmm..

- Dan Jovicevic - Special Tool - "Look at this pretty face, how could you deny me?"
Girlfriend: Shannon
Lies about how he wants to marry his girlfriend. Shannon claims that he is a compulsive liar.

- John Lamb - Giant Tool
Girlfriend: Sarah
Randomly takes on an Alpha-Male, manwhore persona. Does steroids have anything to do with that?

- Terry - Dancin' Tool
Girlfriend: Nicole
Has Nicole at the very bottom of his priorities

- Jon Shileny - Old Tool
Girlfriend: Tracy
Is 31 years old and still hasn't grown up since his departure from his old frat. house.

- Frank Alicea - Guy Liner Tool
Girlfriend: Christina
Has cheated on Christina multiple times and can't seem to stop getting girls numbers. Does anyone else think this sounds familiar to a certain person on last season? A certain person who got someone else besides his girlfriend knocked up?

- Tyler Synon - Tat-Tool
Girlfriend: Shealyn
Before partying, he wanted to marry his girlfriend of 4 years. Now, he's come to the conclusion that he's "too young".

- Mike Aleali - Manscaped Tool
Girlfriend: Rebecca
Is too flirtatious with other girls and isn't as serious as Rebecca would like him to be.

- Stew - Hillbilly Tool
Girlfriend: Amanda
Told his girlfriend that he loved her and then took it back.

- Justin Dibona - Strong Island Tool
Girlfriend: Kathleen
No respect for women or for Kathleen. She says that he treats her like a whore.

- Charm Rice - Sh*t-Talkin Tool
Girlfriend: Andrea
Is an attention-whore who needs the spotlight on him always.

SHOW SUMMERY:
They started the show with the guys posing with models for HER Energy Drink. Ofcourse they reacted with their instincs by screaming, showing themselves off in their underwear, ripping off their shirts, and even practically molesting the models. Ofcourse, Charm had to run around without any underwear (he is an attention whore, after all.)

After that, the show did the ritual of having the guys come on a stage that's surrounded by a bunch of screaming girls who are reaching out and grabbing at them. When the madness calms down, they're asked "What makes you right for HER?". Half of them came up with sex-refrenced answers, some gave cookie-cutter answers, and the rest of them we're too busy giving themselves an ego boost to even care.

This whole time, the girls have been behind a two-way mirror and watching everything happen. And then... BOOM! The host states there has been a change of plans and the HER Energy Drink icons turn into the Tool Academy icon. Hilarious watching the guys faces, especially when the two-way mirror goes through and they see the looks on their girlfriends faces.

Big John (Big Tool) has a hissy fit and leaves the set to catch his breath for awhile. He said he changed his "tampon and took a midol". Which, it's about time that a guy admits he gets his period.

They're told the rules of the show that everyone knows. The winner gets money and a wedding. Losers along the way have to face their girlfriend and the girl decides if she wants to still be with them or not. (I like the "or not" part.)

Next day, they're woken up and set straight to therapy! Ofcourse, the guys think nothing is wrong with them because it's just the "lifestyle" they have.

Katrina (therapist) is saying that the week's lesson is about DEDICATION. Not only to the relationships but to the Tool Academy and the process the couples are going through.

They start off therapy with how the guys feel about their girlfriends.

Dre P
- criticizes his girlfriend on how she can't tie him down sexually. How she isn't as thick as he would like her to be or as tight as he would like her to be.
He claims Leah's attitude pushes her away, even though he always is flocked by girls and says how he enjoys thicker girls.
Dan - says that it depends what day of the week it is if he has a chick or not. He says he only gets with his girlfriend Shannon when he needs to. AND THEN, Dan says this amazing speech on how "I'm a liar, and you're nothing but good to me". Blahblahblah.
John - In the interview, he says he's the alpha male and any woman that wants him needs to put up with it and that he's not in a relationship for the long time, but for the fun times. Admits he's an asshole in a relationship.
Stew - this guy was the stupidest one so far. He went on in his video saying how he cheated on his girlfriend Amanda with another girl named Amanda, and then when his girlfriend starts freaking out, he thinks it would be better to calm her down by saying "we only made out in the hot tub", as if that makes things so much better.
Terry - Brags that he's always on the club scene and how him and his girlfriend Nicole have been on and off for 3 years. Claims that he likes the "off" button more than the "on" button when it comes to their relationship.
Tyler - He's been with Shealyn for 4 years and he just wants to go out and party. How he feels like the past few months he's losing that spark he felt before in the relationship.
Charm - Andrea says that she knew when her and charm first started dating, he was going around with other chicks, but because she doesn't want to think about it, she doesn't act out on it. Charm, with his flawless gift for expression, comes up with "In the last month, I've f**ked about 7 or 8 girls". And ofcourse, he rips off his underwear and jumps up and down naked. After the interview was done:
Charm: Ya'll saw that right? Front row seats.
John L: No one wanted to see it, bro. It wasn't that impressive.
Charm: I don't even know why you comment. No one was even talkin' to you, for reals, man.

(I'm pretty sure you were just talking to everyone, Charm.)
Josh - On video, he almost hints that he's cheated on Jamie with a girl from a Christmas party, but off video he says how they were on a break. Jamie cuts him off and says that it didn't matter if they were on a break or not, they're still living together. So you know what he does? The manipulative thing - he turns it back on her and starts telling her how she's not perfect either and how all she does is nag and complain. He tells her that she just plays the victim.
J Daddy (Justin) - States that Kathleen was really a "cool ass girl" and was cute in the beginning, but she looked easy. As the video rolled on more, he says that him being J Daddy is his life and that Kathleen could either roll with it or just be another number. Kathleen was the first girl to really stand up and call him out for calling himself "J Daddy" at 24 years old. She told him that he was an embarassment to her, her family, and to his own mother. Cluelessly, he couldn't figure out why she had to bring his mom into it.
Mike - One with excuses. He blames his charisma, energy, and style for him kissing up on random girls at bars. In the video he said that he made out with a girl and felt up her shirt. Off video, he stated that it was a lie and all they did was kiss and that's it.
Frank - His video starts out with his girlfriend actually saying that she saw him having sex with another girl, in their home. He used the excuse "I was drunk" and "this was a year and a half ago".
Jon - Okay, so he's 31, and he says that the last girl he hooked up with was 19. His girlfriend Tracy freaks out and calls him a creep. (I agree). She tries to voice her opinion more but he tells her to shut up because he was talking.

Challenge starts off with boats in the water.
So pretty much, they have the couples in these boats and they're pulling these plugs from the bottom of the boats. The couples need to get the water out from the boats so that they don't sink. The couple who lasts the longest wins a romantic date.

WHO SINKS: IN THE ORDER FROM FIRST TO LAST:
Charm & Andrea
Josh & Jamie
John L. & Sarah
Frank & Christina (John pulled down their boat after his went down)
Dre & Leah
Mike A. & Rebecca, Stew & Amanda, Terry & Nicole, Tyler & Shealyn
Dan & Shannon
Jon & Tracy
WINNER: J Daddy and Kathleen

During this, I couldn't help the urge of wanting to punch Amanda in the face. Her and Stew were on the boat, ofcourse it was stupid for him to sit on the edge of it as water is coming in, but she was just cursing him out and yelling at him like he was a dog.

They didn't show much of J Daddy and Kathleens date. Nothing really happened except her wanting to be appreciated more (go figure).

The top five guys in the Dedication class were: Mike A, T Shaw (Terry), J Daddy, Tyler, Jon S.
Bottom 3: John L., Stew, Josh.

Josh goes home. He flips out because he doesn't want to be the first guy going home, he doesn't want to go out the door or anything, he just wants to sneak out to the car with Jamie. The show producers don't allow him to do so. Josh doesn't want to cause a scene though, even though the host is now coming out of the mansion, telling him to "get the f**k out".
I think Josh is dumber than a doornob. If he didn't want to cause a scene and just get it done and over with, he would've been calm and collected and just get it done with gracefully.
Buuuuut... to turn it around, he could've done it for tv. Who truely knows?

The sad part of all this is his girlfriend Jamie leaving with him. All I have to ask is: Why Jamie, why?

MY OPINIONS:
I love watching this show as much as the next person, and I understand that these guys are tools and without these guys and the stupid girls who enlist their boyfriends to this show, there wouldn't be a Tool Academy. But come on, even pre-teens have more self confidence and self-esteem than these girls do. They let these assholes who they "love" to boss them around, and to emotionally abuse them, now... is that really love? No, unless you're into some freaky bondage crap. Girls need to stick up for themselves more often. Men are like dogs, if you don't put them in command and let them know that there are boundries, they will test you. And if a guy does something bad, and you give him the greenlight, he's going to keep testing you and doing whatever he wants to do without a care in the world.

Into.

This is for us people who willingly dedicate our time on Sundays, Mondays, or any other days to sit in front of the television and watch this so-called garbage "Reality TV". While ofcourse we have to let the dog out, clean up the kitchen from last night's dinner, do bills, and even juggle the bottle in the baby's mouth, we much rather watch people argue, fist fight, spit in eachothers faces, and ofcourse - hook up for an insane amount of time.

I don't know about everyone who watches Vh1, but I know I'm one of those insane people who have to write up a list of all the contestant names, and write who I think is going to win, going to drop out of the show (for those stupid reasons we get annoyed at), and who is going to end up on Vh1's 20 Greatest Celebreality Fights.
